Imagine shooting at targets that shoot back!  That's what paint ball shooting is all about.  Special carbon dioxide gas guns are used to shoot soft round-plastic ammo filled with paint.  When you are hit, the paint splatters, so there's no cheating! Remember when you were a kid playing army?  Well, this is the adult version.  Actual war scenarios are staged and it is up to you and your team to take the ground.  Even James Bond scenes are enacted to save a nuclear power plant from terrorist seizure!  The scenarios are endless and exciting.  Join the team and shoot it out.  There are no age limitations to join the sport.  There are many ten year old kids playing the game all the way up to age sixty-plus!

  What is neat about this sport is the realism.  Have you ever wondered when you played army when a kid, if you really were hit or not?  In paint ball, you'll know for certain if you survive the battle.  Another great feature is the sport is generally played outdoors, but now many indoor facilities are in operation, so when the weather is cold or wet the games go on! 

  Shooting sports are indirectly receiving a bad rap in the media due to the proliferation of criminal activities, but one must maintain a healthy perspective on the shooting sports.  You do not read in the papers or the television news of paint ball shooters, trap or skeet shooters robbing banks or performing mindless mass shooting tragedies.   The gun owners in the shooting sports are highly responsible and law-abiding individuals!  It is inherent within boys to play army and when they grow up, they play paintball or other shooting sports.  The shooting sports do not create criminals!  It is not revealed in the media headlines, "Killer Learned Shooting Paint Balls." 

  The shooting sports do not have a negative impact on society, but criminals do, and criminals do not traditionally participate in fun & game shooting sports!  The ammo used in the shooting sports is not military or police grade ammunition.  They use special target ammunition.  The shooting grounds are regulated with rules and standards of behavior and are strictly enforced for safety reasons and to maintain the harmony of the event. 

  The Olympics have shooting categories and these sporting events are certainly highly respected worldwide.  There is no reason to believe your family member or friend will become a criminal for participating in a regulated target shooting sport.  In fact, statistics reveal otherwise!  Many police and correctional officers are involved with the paint ball and clay target shooting games, and they are the law enforcement we in society rely upon.  The criminal element in society is simply not interested in playing games for fun.
