  Trap shooting is a demanding sport requiring precise accuracy. One target lost and you may likely lose! Few sports have such extreme odds with absolute punishment for error. You simply don’t get a second chance to come back with a winning play, not today. Tomorrow is another day, thank Heavens, but will it be a repeat performance? Apparently so. If targets are slipping by and the score keeper is yelling, "Lost" all too often, it’s time to tighten up your sight pictures. Easy as it may sound, this is not a physical accomplishment as many believe but a mental technique. "Precision Shooting" will take you on an interesting journey into the mind, where you will discover yourself in ways you never thought possible. And when you are finished with the dozens of practice tips, you will be shooting with so much precision you’ll wonder how you ever got any wins prior to reading this book! You will learn superlative powerful techniques, many that may appear awkward and mysterious, some familiar, but all so potent you’ll be seeing ‘dustballs’ floating in the air with dead-on hits greatly reducing the odds of losing a target.

Most of the practice tips you will read I developed over a period of years from trial and error associated with scientifically proven technique based on research. I found most scientific studies, though valid in essence, fail to work for the trapshooter without significant measures of blending, alteration and reconfiguration of technique... it’s a forgotten sport. What was needed is a book specifically for trapshooters. I couldn’t find any true to form down to earth practical instructional books on the market, so I wrote "Trap Shooting Secrets" to fill the need. Then another black hole surfaced... trapshooting didn’t end, but continued on to deeper levels. Shooters - experienced and accomplished trapshooters - needed a book to advance towards greater precision and enhanced accuracy. This book; Precision Shooting fills this vacuum.

  I wrote the text for my own needs, to improve vision skills, concentration, and most of all to perform respectfully and reach my own set goals. Many sports books tell you what not to do and is of little practical help to the shooter. We all know what not to do... show me how to do it right! This book tells you what to do so you’ll easily learn what you're not supposed to be doing. As a writer, it is a self-inflicted responsibility to share learned knowledge. Based upon truth and reality, the tips within have worked for me, for many, many, others, and they most certainly will work for you. This information could prove to be of greater value to you than you may yet realize. The skills you learn here will not go unrewarded. The final authority is the reader, the trapshooter who desires results, and may the results speak for themselves. For the greatest authority is he who wins!

  If you shoot DTL (Down The Line) many of these tips can apply to you with some obvious modifications.  Regardless of the game you shoot, whether it be Olympic/International trap to Sporting Clays... there are techniques you will most certainly pick up to enhance your game to give you that leading edge.
